Flickswitch helps companies build Internet of Things and Fintech solutions.
Many Fintech solutions require the rollout of mobile data enabled devices. The Internet of Things (IoT) and FinTech, while completely separate technologies, frequently meet in real life – this is because FinTech applications often rely on connected devices such as payment terminals, point-of-sale (POS) devices, vending terminals, tablets, and transaction confirmation or order-printing devices.
Born and bred in South Africa in 2007, Flickwitch has grown to offer comprehensive SIM management solutions to various industries, specialising in M2M, IoT and Fintech applications across various mobile networks in most African countries. We have offices in South Africa, Kenya and Ghana.
We offer rapid speed to market for customers, cost control and reliability and our online interfaces are intuitive and easy to understand.
Hein is a "specialist generalist", with experience in multinational corporate life and later in business incubation, the start-up minefield, product development and managing growth. He is currently learning a lot about scaling and establishing multi-country operations.
Willem is passionate about scaling companies, analytics, economics and music and enjoy a good red wine, travelling and all things tech. Unlike most people, he has been both a corporate-type P&L owner in a large multinational and a get-things-done hustler in a start-up. And he’s enjoyed both.
