Naaya Consulting is a legal strategy firm that offers cross-border commercial legal, governance and strategy advisory services for growth across the African continent.
Naaya Consulting assists clients, to more effectively, navigate and manage their business and legal risks by consistently and intelligently providing unique solutions to operational, transactional and strategic challenges that face their businesses. Operating since mid-2012, it is our mission to become Africa’s most trusted name in business advisory services both within and outside the continent.
Based in Johannesburg, South Africa, we have travelled and worked across the world and aim to be the firm of choice for our clients and partners seeking unparalleled access to these markets. We speak all three commercial languages of the continent - English, French and Portuguese – as well as a number of other languages, both African and European, with professional proficiency. In the cultivation of this experience, we have built an extensive network that spans the globe from Yaoundé to New York, and Lagos to London, which fluidly brings geographical reach and important local knowledge to every transaction we are involved in.
As a 100% black female owned consultancy we are committed to the transformation of South Africa and the African continent, and ours is an empowerment paradigm that is rooted in sustainable wealth creation and personal and organisational integrity. We are as excited about the opportunities we have to be game-changers in our world as we are deeply aware of the reciprocal responsibility that these confer on us to act with conscience.
Naaya Consulting was founded in 2012 by Lerato Molefe who prior to establishing Naaya, practised mergers and acquisitions law at the leading law firms of Shearman & Sterling LLP in New York and Paris and Bowman Gilfillan in Johannesburg.
